Kari Skinningsrud became a freelance medical writer in 2002 after more than 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry in different roles in product management, clinical research and medical writing. She has extensive writing and editing experience in a wide range of clinical areas including cardiovascular and respiratory medicine, endocrinology, diagnostic imaging, migraine, ophthalmology, neurology, transplant surgery and laboratory medicine and has been the Journal of the Norwegian Medical Association’s English consultant since 2006. Kari was EMWA’s Public Relations Officer from 2005 to 2009.
